6.4/10
I had a solid stay overall, enjoying the location near Darling Harbour. While the rooms were a decent size and provided a pleasant view, the lack of attention to detail in cleaning was frustrating. The breakfast was adequate but not particularly varied, and I found the service to be helpful throughout my stay. However, the hotel did feel slightly dated, and the location among busy roads was less than ideal.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious enough for a family, with a nice view, especially good for watching the Saturday night fireworks. However, some areas felt a bit dated and there were issues with the cleanliness, as I found some items left behind from previous guests.
Service
8.0
The service was friendly and accommodating, with smooth check-in and check-out processes. Staff responded well to needs and requests during my stay.
Location
6.0
The hotel is close to Darling Harbour and a short walk to restaurants and attractions. However, the surrounding roads can be a bit noisy and the path to Darling Harbour was not very direct.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a decent selection but was repetitive each morning. The juice station and fresh honeycomb were nice touches, but I wished for more variety overall.
Facilities
5.0
While the facilities included a nice breakfast area, the hotel lacks a swimming pool, which could enhance the overall experience.

7.0/10
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the customer service left a lot to be desired, especially during the booking process, the friendly staff ultimately provided good service during my stay. The location is fantastic and offered easy access to nearby attractions, but I found the rooms to be dated and in need of an upgrade. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there were definitely some major drawbacks.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms were large and had everything we needed, but they felt dated and could use some upgrades. Housekeeping did a great job, but I noticed a few spots that weren't 100% clean. I would rate the rooms a 6 out of 10.
Service
7.0
Service was a bit hit or miss. Initially, the staff seemed rude when checking us in, asking us to wait unexpectedly, but once we were settled in, they were helpful when we needed items like toothbrushes. I'd give the service a 7 out of 10.
Location
9.0
The location is excellent, just a short walk to Darling Harbour and other major attractions. Easy access to public transport made it very convenient. I rate the location a solid 9 out of 10.
Dining
6.0
Dining was okay, but I felt it was slightly overpriced. The breakfast selection didn't change much during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. I would rate dining a 6 out of 10.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel has decent facilities, but nothing stood out as particularly impressive or luxurious. The amenities were standard, so I rate the facilities a 7 out of 10.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The location is fantastic, being so close to Darling Harbour and the city center, making it easy to explore. The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything I needed, though the view isn't what it used to be due to new construction nearby. The service was commendable, with staff being helpful throughout my stay. On the downside, the soundproofing between rooms could be improved, making it a bit noisy at times. Nevertheless, I found it to be a good value for the price, especially for a one-night stay.
